| We all agree we should listen to our judges, put justice in front of our list of values and be very careful to implement it in reality. Our only problem are definitions, because you see Yossi, these same things that you claim not being fulfilled by the settlers are the same things they pray for in every single tefila - "Ashiva shofteinu" they say, they long for justice and judges and to implement all this -"u meloch aleinu mehera Ata" -. Being that we are all longing for the same, how can it be so much division? I`ve got a proposition. I hope you will be brave to see it. 60 years ago we implemented a new system, a new legal framework was created, the state within the state is 60 years old, not 5 or 6 or 10. It is absolutely natural to expect resistance to a move that created an entirely new system for a people with a fully working legal system, with 3000 years of experience. I think the most sensitive measurement we could undertake is to return to our old system . . . |
