At the same time The European and American courts ordered the return of the stolen and looted belongings of the 6.000.000 murdered Jews to their heirs; Israel,the Jewish State ,want to trample the rights of the heirs and to keep the money and other assets in the ownership of the State c.q the Banks .
Bank Leumi "found" the accounts of the murdered jews in 1945 and waited until 1960 to hand it over, that is 15 years of profits for the Bank, and thanks to the devaluation, nearly nothing left over.It should have been the duty of a Jewish bank,in the State of Israel to actively seek and try to find the heirs in the afterwar years. The Bank perfectly knows that the victims of the holocaust went naked in the gaschambers of Auschwitz , Sobibor, Dachau and so on. All their papers were stolen and destroyed by the german murderers.So the few survivors could not prove that their family deposited money at Bank Leumi.That may be legally right,but certainly morally despicable. |
