Yadlin is one of the most knowledgeable Israelis on the issue of war and peace facing the country. You may not agree with him but fool or "mentally retarded` he is certainly not. Is it a specific right wing trait to call someone who disagrees with them retarded? Also your description of Arab and Iranian leaders as all evil and stupid is very simplistic.
I certainly agree with Yadlin`s assessment. There is nothing wrong with talking even with one`s enemies. His assessment of the effect of the world financial crisis on Iran is correct. Iran is allready calling for halving the oil production to maintain prices.OPEC will probably not consent to such a reduction, but either way it would not help Iran whose national income is mostly from oil. The country is already in a deep financial crisis which will deepen even more. Under such circumstances Ahmadijenad`s political future and his nuclear program are in serious jeopardy. |
