and the problem with annexing is that inevitably..."settlements" will pop up; right? it`s happened in ALL of israel`s "so-called" defensive buffer land grabs. and when the qassams starting falling of them? then what? more annexations? God forbid the thought of uprooting any illegal settlements; right?!
your idea DOES have merit, though; albeit the other way around...
it would MUCH easier, more humane, and far less controversial, internationally, to relocate the mere 20,000 residents of sderot...wouldn`t you say? |
