| Rabbis were supposed to build a fence around the Torah, not lock it up in a prison. The Rabbis have also been collecting a pretty shekel from the State for years. Are they planning to sell conversions to the highest bidders? The Torah allows conversions and is not that specific about the requirements. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Maybe those Rabbis have been corrupted by their absolute power. |
