OK you lot. Listen up! If you are living outside of Israel,you are part of a diminishing diaspora. Either you or your children or your grandchildren will marry out and with that will end your jewish heritage.It is inevitable. That`s fine. That`s your personal choice and no one can argue with that. However, here in Israel, we have 300,000 Israeli citizens of jewish desent who have tied there fate with ours.They live along side us, their children grow and are educated with ours and they serve in our defense forces. They are part of "Am Israel".
It is their commitment to "Am Israel" that will help insure our future and hopefully the future of all the generations to come.
Their children will marry our children and in one generation they and their decendants will return to us and nobody will remember which rabbi converted who.
The swabbles of today are not important and hopefully even a bunch of egotistical power hungry rabbi`s won`t be able to damage our historical chances for survival. |
