| Comprehensive talks are needed to prevent nuclear proliferation in the ME. All parties, partcularly Israel and Iran, will need to come clean about the nature and extent of their nuclear research programmes, disclose (and eventually limit) their stockpiles of bombs and fissile materials, and agree to a thorough - and enforceable - inspection regime. The alternative? Let`s just say I`m 75 years old and hopefully won`t be around long enough to see it. MV |
