The Institute for Science and International Security is not so given to outright fabrication as over statement and spin.

I understand that they have to keep the funding coming, and headlines help.

I even agree to an extent with much of what the ISIS does and says.

While I am an advocate of nuclear power - it is the ONLY carbon neutral method of supplying reliable base line power for much of the world.

But it does produce it`s own nasty pollution problems.

I see Mixed Oxide fuel as being a solution to TWO (MOX) problems.

Getting rid of Plutonium, and reducing the need for Uranium mining.

The world needs to create secure and thorough reprocessing of spent reactor fuel.

WE also need some coherent long-term means of storing high-level radioactive wastes.

After 8 years of systematically destroying treaties as a matter of Ideology, it is time for the US to start working constructively.

As for the question of `pressing` Israel to stop making bombs, I am not certain Israel should.
