| Attention, Israelis: You already HAVE a gun culture... Just go out on the streets and see how many people you spot walking around openly with automatic weapons (OR the ubiquitous school outing guard armed with an ancient squirrel gun-- what`s that all about, anyway... OR the cowboys provocatively traversing ha-Gai Street in the Muslim Quarter with their handguns DRAWN...) These are NOT soldiers (at least in uniform), but kids in blue-jeans and baggy sweatshirts. I mean, (to quote a famous film) "Who ARE those guys?" |
