| I hate to break the news, but British Foreign Secretary David Miliband is the most intelligent diplomat around. Hearing him speak, you quickly realize his incredible grip of world conflicts. His command of diplomatic language. And his capacity to formulate brave yet ingenious solutions. The west or Israel for that matter, couldn`t be in better hands. He will have Syria`s diplomats eating crow, in no time. They are no match for his intellectual prowess or his linguistic skill. His cultured style is exactly what`s needed today. It will set a tone for Syria`s guarded move toward world acceptance. Time is of the essence and this meeting could prove to be the first building block of strategic re-alignment. |
