King Abdullah is a very humble and a welling personality to construct and accomplish a better saudi arabia and a better middile east eventually. But, i just do not comprehend why change is so slow to take palce in the saudi kingdom. As a Saudi i would love to see more women and ethnic Saudis in a position of power one day and less repressive religious impose on the Saudis, and hopefully the Obama victory will eccelate that.
As for the Middle East peace process, one must not neglect nor under-estimate that Saudi Arabia is a key element in achieving any progress in the region.
it has always been a dreem of mine to see an Israeli embassy in Riyadh and a Saudi embbasy in Tel Aviv. And hopefully that day will come soon. |
