| The responses are of two fashions: 1. They are Israelis and all Israelis are monsters and thus . . . 2. They abused a Palestinian and all Palestinians are monster and thus. . . Twaddle. They are humans and the man they gratuitously abused is a human. They degraded him, and in doing so degraded themselves. There is a point where moral superiority is the point. And if someone has total military, economic and physical superiority over another, then the only thing left to surrender is moral superiority. Those young men did just that. Why? And for what advantage? Either the Palestinians must be persuaded to coexist with Israel, or they must be exterminated so that Israel will not have to coexist with them. What will it be? Israel has the upper hand. It is in total control of the situation. The Palestinians are powerless except to resist. Israel must decide. Make peace with Palestine, or exterminate the Palestinians. Which will it be? |
