| "One mustn`t adhere to the laws of man but to the laws of God."--King Abdullah And what about secular democracy, the hard-won separation of church and state, and the fact that no one can agree on what God`s laws are? I suppose that the clergy at the Interfaith Summit will gobble up that statement without a murmur. It`s going to be a hard sell to the non-Muslim laymen though after millennia of religious wars over precisely which laws are God`s laws. |
