| There`s a subtle difference between avoiding peace and faking attempts at peace. Israel would prefer to fake attempts at peace because this placates America and the EU. The results are the same as for avoiding peace. The only difference is that, in order to fake peace attempts, you must appear to consider various peace plans. The Saudi plan has been sitting on the table for years. It is a prime candidate at Israels first fake peace attempt under the new American regime. |
