| The more the bankruptcy of the occupation is exposed the more agitated its defenders become. They start with the "look how Israelis have suffered", look how UNWRA shows "favouritism to the oppressed. The Israeli chief of staff, Moshe Ya`alon has stated pyublically that the policy of colonisation is to prove to the palestinians that they are a defeated people. And these defenders of that policy will drone on with all kinds of ruses and moral equivalencies to cover up the truth. UNRWA, or the UN, or Human Rights Watch or Amnesty Int., they become the enemy, never Israel, the occupier. Israel has chosen this course and it is paying the consequences. It is land over peace and to vanquish and humiliate an entire people. Nothing less. The UN simply is made into another scapegoat to deflect attention from the atrocities of Israel`s occupation. |
