| The saudis initiated the meeting not to achieve the goal of inter-religious understanding and compassion as a door to peace. They initiated it as an effort to mask the significant and fatal intolerance of muslim regimes to the "infidels." Of 82 muslim states, only one is democratic and ONLY that one has true religious tolerance. In almost all the rest, especially saudi arabia (the financiers of jimbo carter) being a member of a faith other than that proscribed by the royal family is tantamount to treason and punishable by death. Once again, livni and peres are showing to what level they are willing to go to offer their subservience to a foreign entity dedicated to our destruction.
