Olmert is a buffoon - he is demonizing the settlers to score brownie points with the lefty press and other lefties. He knows they could help him avoid prison. As for his "let`s give the land away in return for NOTHING," he previously conceded that his "convergence plan" was bankrupt. This is pure appeasement - the kind of lunacy that emboldens Israel`s supporters and distresses Israel`s supporters.
