| Apparently once when asked who he admired most as Israel`s prime minister, Ehud Olmert responded with PM Yitzchak Shamir, who basically didn`t do much in advancing the peace process between Israel and the Palestinians. Today, PM Shamir would probably have had a kinipshin fit listening to this bold speech in the Knesset. It`s a timely speech because there is increasing international pressure or involvement with bringing an end to the conflict and create the two-state solution; PM Olmert really has the obligation to continue negotations with the PA given the amount of time and money already invested in the region; and basically it`s unfair for Israelis not knowing from here or there (lo poo, v`lo shum) as to what`s Livni`s or Netanyahu`s true intentions towards a final agreement. |
