While technically true that Jews are not a "race" as such, our tradition holds we are an ethnic nationality that follows a common religion. Both the ethnic-nationality and the religion are integral to being Jews.
As such the Jewish "race" is just as much a "race" as for example, Greeks, Armenians, Slavs, etc.
There are those that try to seperate the religion from the nationality (Jews for Jesus etc.) and those that try to seperate the nationality from the religion (the PLO, many anti-Zionist groups). |
