Just a technicality: Jews were killed because of their race, more than religion. Thus, Christians were killed if they had been Jews earlier in life or if they had Jewish ancestors back to a certain generation.
Christian "Jews" in the ghettos normally did get better treatment -- more food, less crowded living quarters, etc. -- but in the end they went to the same gas chamber. |
