| Israel?s political earthquake by stages The phenomena of political late awakeness is actually none, as the cup is overflowing in all major Israel?s political parties. - The creation of Kadima was the first step of trying to find / create a forum / party which has not been sucked out of its former logo, party program, ideological political goals, if ever already existed. Arik Sharon?s Likud became obsolete and corruptive in its actions. ? Religious parties split into independent political groups. Likud Party became weaker and weaker by its internal personal rivalry. Olmert?s Lebanon War with all miscalculation short comings unpreparedness, etc. that here came to light, gave a final push to an internal split which later called itself Kadima under Olmert. ? Labor Party had been torn by infights for leading internal positions, still suffered from Ehud Barak?s grandiose failures who even had to leave Premiership his party leadership after having wasted the general feeling of semi consents after Yitzhak Rabin murder. He semi officially became political inactive and now pressed for leadership by all means. - In the mean time Shas Party tried and partially succeeded in squeezing out special allocations for its specific ? Clientele ? which to a certain extend also took care ? of the Ultra Orthodox theocratical demands, the ? settlers programs ? and became a real, decisive factor in the Knesset. Additionally PM Olmert?s too many mistakes, his personal overstressing of his importancy became a permanent source of lowering governmental authority together with the partially effective damage to Israel?s juridical system, the revelations of ? personal influence ? in nearly all parts of government plus the useless and ? dumb ? attacks on government control organs specially the State Comptroller in person etc. etc.. Caused public disinterest, unwillingness to enter actively into this political mire with its too many unacceptable official figures, which became less repellent by the outlook for Knesset election with a ray of hope for betterment Natural reactions took quite a time, but the feeling for an impending immediate change in Israel?s politics, democracy, public active participation became apparent. First rumblings in the political scene were observed the active role of State Comptrollers Commissioners Office by pointing out / causing investigation also helped to activate Israel?s public which now seems to find its expressions in personal changes from party to party which can be considered the first step in Israel?s political recovery under extremely difficult conditions. The forthcoming US Presidential change, world financial ? tsunami ? a possible worldwide change of social economics existing rules which effect all country?s makes it mandatory to have a flexible well experienced Israel leadership to survives successfully these troubled times. Formation of Kadima which is completely unspecified, uncertain partially internal contradictory political goals has still to proof party stability / goals to be come more than a temporary basin for politicians who lost their way. ? Israel has to mobilize its most reliable, experienced, intelligent personalities with wide international knowledge, acceptance and irrespective of their possible political party connections, but with highest executive abilities. |
