75% of Gaza`s power comes from the Israeli electrical grid and this hasn`t been affected by fuel shortages. An additional percentage of Gaza`s electricity comes from Egypt and again is not affected by fuel shortages. Only a small percentage of Gaza`s electricity is generated in this diesel plant, and whether or not this is a fuel shortage or a propaganda coup for Hamas is debatable. Last time the "fuel ran out," Hamas was caught hoarding it.
In the meantime, why not try telling Hamas that biting the hand that feeds it (either Egyptian or Israeli) is probably a bad idea? |
