| As a paid apologist for the Palestinians, it is always fun to note what Amira Haas never mentions in her articles. She doesn`t mention the missile attacks on Israeli civilians (considered war crimes by major human rights groups). She doesn`t mention the fact that the Hamas government rejects peace with Israel and supports armed attacks against Israeli civilians. She doesn`t mention the Israeli prisoner held secretly by Hamas without visitation rights by the International Red Crescent, in violation of international law. She doesn`t mention the ex-judicial executions of Fatah Palestinians carried out by Hamas, but does note there are more beards on the men. Funny how she can`t draw any conclusions about Gaza. Hamas might have left a few pictures of Arafat on walls, but the rest of the senior Arafat supporters are under arrest without trial, and the unlucky ones are 6 feet underground. To Amira Haas, the blatant human rights violations by the Palestinians are not news for her. |
