That is an easy one. A semite is a descendant of Abraham, like Isaac, AND ISHMAEL! Check the wording of Gen 17:23. What does that say Ishmael is? In english, it is a three letter word, S-O-N.
The word "semite" has been twisted, like the parentage of Ishmael. Selective reading of the scriptures can cause tunnel vision. One will see what one wishes to see. Like some folks who deny prophecy and the fact that G-d gave the holy land to the Jews, AND when they forgot his ways, he just as surely took it away. Anyone remember a few scriptures about Babylon? Granted that is not the Torah, but it remains a historical fact. Check with the weeping prophet. I suspect that he would be weeping now.
