The Golan was also the last Jewish stronghold during the Great Revolt. On the other hand it was used as a dumping ground for waste material by Syria ever since it was ceded to them by France in 1944. 23 years in Syrian Hands and centuries of being part of the Kingdom of Israel tells you that the Golan has come back `Home` and never again to be lost in anyone else`s hands again. |
