| Yes Philip I live on "Stolen" land on the Golan. I and many other true Israelis stole it in 1967 and 1973 with the blood and lives of our soldiers. For more than twenty years we lived under the threat of the syrian guns on the heights. We grew up in the bomb shelters night after night. We strugggled up these heights in 1967 and brought peace to the valley below. In 1973 when were were once again attacked by the syrians we lost hundreds of young men in the first few days and just managed to stop the onslaught before they crossed into our territory on their way to wipe out you and your family in Herzlia. Do you remember Philip. Most likely not because you were not living in Israel during those times and you never served in the army. I am proud to be a Golani. I fought two wars for my place here and I do not want my son to fight a third. You should really get out of Herzlia and come up here and see what miracles have been achieved by the "Real" Israeli not effete left wing liberal snobs. |
