Livni is clearly showing that she is not a "softie" and is not afraid to touch the sensitive Palestinian area and use force against it if necessary. The raid today was made in the interest of the ruling party and against the interest of the Israeli public, especially the public that lives close to Gaza and is enjoying several months of peaceful existence.
While I was inclined to vote Livni next election, even after her backstabbing spree within the Kadima party and the way she behaved towards people who brought her into the party, now I think that I will change my mind.
Unfortunately, in this country, politicians are only interested in their power within the government and in the lives of the country`s citizens and Livni is not an exception to this rule. |
