Why does every deranged person from around the globe feel the need to tell us how to vote? If Mr/Mrs Absolute from Sweden would stop partaking of the drink that bears his/her name, and come and live here, maybe I would care about his/her opinion.
Speaking as an Israeli who actually lives in this country, Yossi Sarid`s article is spot on. Historically my voting dilemma was between Ratz and Shinui, and later on between Meretz and Labour. With Barak taking Labour on the road to nowhere, my dilemma is between Meretz and Kadima. The decision will be based on the credibility of their line-ups, and how potentially effective they seem to be. Frankly I was glad to see Beilin retire, but Ran Cohen`s departure is a blow. Without people of his stature and some new energy on the Meretz list, I will be tempted to restrain my gag reflex and vote for Livni |
