| The American people are making a choice today. I firmly believe that this choice will be a rebuke to the Bush years, which includes the Iraq war, the floundering economy, the chaotic foreign policy, and the daylight robbery of the American taxpayer. Obama will not fix all of these things but he is smart enough to know a disease from a symptom. America needs to concentrate on fixing the root causes of the problems and not on the problems themselves. Some ideas? (1) A sky high tariff on all foreign goods in order to put America back to work, making its own quality goods. (2) Giving Israel one year to make peace with the Palestinians, after which all American support will be curtailed. (3) massive regulation of wall street and financial institutions in order to root out armies of parasitic middlemen who live in the nooks and crannies of Americas finance system and soak up all the profit. |
