| Syria is doing what Arab nations are always good at, cutting of their nose to spite their face. Who the heck dose Syria think its punishing? Syria closed down a school and cultural center that helped educate Syrians and broadened their cultural horizons. I ask again who is this hurting? Authoritarian regimes think that they can hold on to power by shutting out the rest of the world. The only thing that changes is instead of gradual reform, it will implode in all its glory. |
