That while both candidates have shown a degree of integrity and skill, Obama, by nature of his ability to bring people together among other positive traits, has earned the opportunity to lead the American people for the next four years.
The idea that dialogue, or even negotiations, is the equivelent of appeasment, is incorrect.
When two parties sit down at the negotiating table, each side has legitimate interests at heart. The United States and Israel have a true and honest partnership, and the US does not have a history of abandoning its allies.
Obama, to his credit, appears to have disdained and absented the growingly shrill extreme left of the party and its anti-Israel / anti-Semitic polemics. |
