| I figure you are probably a hit and run poster who won`t be back, but as a journalist who covered Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath, I can truthfully say that your statement "Hyperbolic nonsense about how the Bush Administration left New Orleans to die" is bunk. Between the guitar playin` Prez, to the shoe buying Secretary of State, the rest of the country was watching on CNN when Anderson Cooper was saying "where the hell is the federal government? How come we can get here but they are not?" From the night versus day treatment of Democratic governor of Louisiana Kathleen Blanco compared to the treatment of Republican governor of Mississippi Haley Barbour, to the infamous photo of Bush`s non-stop flyover: http://bbsnews.net/bbsn_photos/hurricane_katrina /20050831bush_airforce1_orleans The Bush administration let down New Orleans in partisan abject neglect *even after being warned what would happen*. |
