| I suppose that if the only criteria is that a person be an elected member of parliament then any elected person holding unacceptable extremist views is welcome to the European Parliament but then perhaps a bit more information on the person inviting Hamas would also be welcome. I am told that like minded people do not consider the morality of their own actions only the political advantage it brings to them. A gesture is still a message of support. Given the daily propaganda that Hamas excretes about Israel and Jews a formal diplomatic protest would be the least i would expect from Israel`s FO but realistically, given it`s incompetence I would be shocked if this were to happen. |
