| The Jewish immigrants from Iran that were in my Ulpan class in 1983 (when I immigrated to Israel from the US), fled Iran through the mountains into Turkey. Their coats and shoes were stolen and they walked barefoot through the snow. The elderly died and were buried along the way. Those Israeli Arabs that do not wish to be a part of our nation have the right to leave. Israeli Arabs enjoy freedoms that no Jews in Arab lands ever dreamed to have. But most importently, the jews of Syria, Iran and other Islamic nations never had the right to leave. |
