actually upon rereading what i wrote i want to make a correction.
ALL TELEVISION regardless of which country it is in is banal, introverted, and sentationalist.
its just that in some places you can catch 30mins to an hour in a day where something truly informative is on.... and then its back to macarbe descriptions of gangrape, followed by commercials, and the next installment of the beauty and the geek
i`m not against violence or sex on tv or movies. i`m just against incredibly stupid programming. i think that does way more damange than any amount of violence or sex on tv. stupidity can be infectious and rots the brain like a disease of many people |
