| Haaretz has sadly got this quite wrong. The stupidity of the Prison Service to have allowed a convict any kind of publicity was quite rightly dealt with by Government. Where else on earth does such a thing happen? Did we have TV shows featuring live interviews with Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Bis Sirhan and James Earl Ray about how they thought up and assassinated the Kennedys and Martin Luther King? They were incarcerated - and tho` Oswald himself was killed, no press access was granted him. This is simply absurd and once Government saw what had happened it acted rightly. |
