Israel usually admits its targeted assassinations and they didn`t on this one. Now Hezbo had its long range missiles taken out in the first few hours of the 06 war this was probably why.
I`m sure there are more cells still operating in Lebanon, I have no problem with that. It`s worth noting the UN computers taken in the war by Israel found they were giving "real time" information on IDF troop movements. Some thing much more worrisome given the UN`s alleged neutrality.
Israel knew it would be blamed anyway for the killing so why not admit it if it were true? After the war Nasrallah arrested scores of people trying to find out how Israel knew where the rockets were, to date nobody knows or cares what happened to those people (they are most likely dead). I guess it`s OK to arrest people in Lebanon but if Israel arrests Pals it is unjust, right?
