Even if prostitution were legalized you may get the same situation as exists in Sweden. The women are allowed to use condoms, of course, and in return for the medical services they are expected to give the authorities a list of their clients.

The upshot is that the women would prefer to work illegally since nobody would go to them knowing . . . You wouldn`t want to learn that a policeman, or some otherwise respected citizen in North Tel Aviv drive over to "the South" to get some "release"--little wifey might not like it. Then too, what happened to all the meidelehs? Isn`t that enough, or has that become a form of sexual harrassement subject to legal action.
