| Two points. First the lessor. Why should israel, or Jews, have any delegate to the Vatican? Most modern antiSemitism, and certainly the worst antiSemitism, of the modern world is rooted in the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. The Roman Catholic Church has supported the extermination of Jews as the murderers of Christ. It is still coy upon this support. The Roman Catholic Church holds that upon the resurrection of Christ, the Jewish religion became a degenerate throwback to the past. Yet, the right-wing political ideology of today adheres to the belief that Jews must accept, and submit to the Roman Catholic Church. If anyone suggested that Jews should suck up to Adolf Hitler, they would be appalled. But suggest they should suck up to the church which imparted his antiSemitism, and the right expects Jews to click their jackboots, give the stiff armed salute, and march off to the Bushwessel song. |
