Talkback

When getting a letter published by the New York Times, the format is simple: Your first sentence must read: [Thomas Friedman/DavidBrooks/William Kristol/Whomever] hit the nail on the head in his [cite column]. He may have added, however [make point].
Haaretz, so like the NY Times, has its own rules to follow. And there is no rule greater than this: let the posters say what they want, on just abot everything (NOT the holocaust), but what must NEVER be allowed in talkback is anything that suggests there IS something to Jewish behavior, something repeated, something continuous, something negative. Becuase then we get into the area of Jewish stereotypes -- seeking power behind the throne, disloyalty to the native state, a too-too fondness for money, etc... all things that corroborate a Jewish supremacism that just might be what pisses people off, not antisemitism. Oh, well.
