| I have met many people who converted to Judaism or had their kids convert upon birth. They do it because they believe in Judaism, not because of their significant other. Their significant other may be the catalyst, but not the reason. My wife is a perfect example. She never felt right being Christian or not believing, but when I introduced her to Judaism she studied and agreed it was what she believed. She is more religious than I am now. Its because she believes in Judaism, not because I am Jewish. This is by far the majority of converts to Judaism. No one should convert just because of a spouse, but because they believe. |
