i have never understood why there are 3 distinctions. when did Hebrews become Jews? or Israelites become Hebrews? its clear that there are people who wish to disassociate modern-day Jews from the Bible and Biblical occurances.... its also possible that Jews want to link themselves to the history that took place in present-day Israel. so where does the truth lie?
