| Why are these elections even needed? The President could ask Netanyahu to put together his narrow 61-seat coalition right now, in the next 21 days, by law. Why doesn`t he? There is no sense in having to spend NIS3-Billion between now and February, with the economy the way it is. Mr Peres -- take my advice, and give the head of Likud the Mandate to form a government -- he will do so, with Shas, with Israel Beitenu, with the religious, and probably with Barak of Labor as well. No elections. Give Bibi the chance. 21 days, by law. |
