I think education is one of the few portfolios they could do well with.
Considering the current education minister was a founder of Peace Now and has taken some zionist and jewish issues out of schools and also put the palestian nakba propoganda into Israels history books then why not Shas.
They at least wont take judaism off the curriculum because it conflicts with the values of Peace Now.
Shas have also proven track record at being very good at getting money and considering how underfunded the education system is right now then maybe Shas would be a blessing to the schools.
If Natanyahu wins the election afterwards to put a coalition together he will unfortunatly need Shas so why not give them a position they might actually do some good at. |
