What the PA is doing is called counterinsurgency. They try and protect civilians and establish law and order and normalcy for their citizens. It leads eventually to establishment of a state of Palestine.
The IDF is even now starting to cooperate by allowing and protecting the olive harvest and the Israeli government has started to expose the criminal land theft of privately owned land from Palestinians. A good next step would be allowing the PA to build the courts and jails they need.
Has anybody done enough? Not Yet. But there is hope.
Maybe the Israeli elections will bring a government WILLING AND ABLE to conclude a peace agreement. That would the ability to address all issues. |
