| but I read as much hatred here in these few posts as I have ever read on al-jazeera. Of course millions of Palestinians can not be allowed into Israel proper, but that is open to negotiation and everyone has acknowledged that. (yes I know Hamas has not but they will have to as Arab support falls away. The Arab world right now is more concerned about Iranian influence in Gaza and Lebanon). The Palestinian people will prefer a prosperous life that you can help them achieve. It is time to make peace with the Arab countries. Gaza will be no worse than it is now and the west bank is cut off. There is always some fear but perpetual war is not going to help. If peace fails, Israel is strong enough to re-take the west bank. I too can taste the venom that comes from some Arab sources, but this will take time to heal and it can only happen when there is peace. There is now a window of opportunity, and you are strong enough to take it. Not just for for you but for your children. |
