| The peaceniks know that they have the upper hand. Actually a confrontation, including a boarding and use of force would suit the peaceniks better. The Israeli navy is forced to (1) let them have their way, or (2) make all the world media looking like thugs. In fact, international law is on the side of the Israeli navy, but that doesn`t matter. Appearances often trump strict adhearance to the law. Israel will content themselves to harrass the peaceniks when they attempt to leave Gaza, hoping that this inconvenience will keep them away. It hasn`t so far. |
