| There`s not ever going to be a "new" kind of politics. Israel is simply not capable of getting together a stable government that will make peace with the neighbors. Every time it even gets close enough to make the Western news, just as quickly it is extinguished by the illegal "settlers" and those that defend and protect them. The future looks very bleak indeed for Israel with the world realigning as it is, I sure hope those vaunted claims are true about the IDF being equal to the task of a REAL existential threat as opposed to the one created within by the "settlers", and the ones created out of thin air like those who believe the president of Iran has any power to actually wage a war... Many of us suggested the Arab Peace Initiative. Given what`s happened in Syria and in Israel, that offer seems more and more likely to be futile. Israel does not want peace, Israel wants full-scale world war. |
