Folks,look beyond the headlines....
Syria has lately been having problems with the Al-Qaida style fundamentalists (recent car bomb in Damascus, etc) and these lelemnts ahve been making their home on the Iraq-Syria border much as the Taliban play the game on the afghan-Paki border. Isnt it nice an convenient that the Americans did this and helped clean up things for Syria while allowing it to maintain ist image at the front lines of western agression??
Dont be surprised if there was some coordination between US forces and syrian intelligence on this one.... |
