| The `balance of power` is a deceptive slogan. What power did Iraq have? Smaller than Texas, a tenth of the U.S. population, no airforce, no WMD`s, just oil. We now control it. Afganistan? What military might do they possess? Palestinians do have stones though. So if you call Israel and the U.S. with nukes, bunker busters, aircraft carriers, at least 1000 fighter aircraft, tanks, cruise missiles.... Where did you get the notion that there is a `balance` of power in the ME? What really exists is annihilation for those who want to protect their sovereignty. We`re fighting for democracy? Wrong. We`re killing people who don`t comply with our way of life. |
